Built a management consulting practice that transforms IT organizations from order-takers into value-added business partners. As a result of out-sourcing, many IT organizations struggle to provide the thought-leadership needed to improve business operations using IT. My practice offers full transformation services from strategy development and alignment through to training and execution. Achievements include:

  • Created a business planning process that engaged IT and their business partners in strategy discussions in order to improve the strategic nature of their plans,
  • Developed portfolio prioritization and management processes to ensure project priorities aligned with strategic goals and to increase ROI,
  • Worked with the leadership team to develop metrics and a balanced scorecard to monitor how well they were meeting the strategic objectives,
  • Improved collaboration across different functional areas and outsourced services with the goal of faster problem resolution,
  • Initiated and coached continuous improvement teams to refine planning and delivery processes and to empower them with better decision-making tools, and
  • Improved project execution capabilities so that stalled projects were able to be completed.
